I paint primarily in Watermedia/Mixed Media on paper or canvas. Creating a rich textured surface in strong colors is of primary concern to me. My subject matter is drawn from different sources — i.e., the “Rock Pattern” and “Shaman” series. Using good design principles, I try to make a statement in my work that interests the viewer, inviting him or her to respond with their own feelings and emotions.
